Anna Doblhofer was born November 27th, 1987 in Linz, Austria.
She started her Jazz and Pop music studies at the Kunstuniversität für
Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna with professor Herbert Pichler
in 2008. On a visit to New York in 2009, she had the opportunity to
take a lesson with Jazz pianist Aaron Goldberg, and attend concerts of
such great Jazz artists as: Jimmy Cobb, Cedar Walton, Gerald Clayton,
Joe Lovano, Tom Harrell, Mulgrew Miller and the Mingus Dynasty Band.
In 2010, Anna travelled to Rome to attend the workshop of legendary
Bebop pianist and Jazz educator Barry Harris. She became more serious
about Jazz and began formal studies in 2009 with Prof. Olaf Polziehn
at KUG (Graz University for Arts and Music). During her time in Graz
she has had the great opportunity to attend many workshops with
amazing Jazz artists such as: Mike Abene, John Hollenbeck, Fred Hersch
etc.

 

Leonore Hollauf was born November 12, 1990 in Graz, Austria. She showed ​interest in music very early on. At 5 years old she took cello and recorder lessons at the music school in Hartberg. In her free time she sang in choirs and was part of the school band. She took part in several music competitions and won many prizes, including first prize for recorder and second prize for cello at Prima La Musica in 2005, the famous music competition for young musicians from all over Austria.
Her first exposure to jazz came in the same year, when Leonore took lessons with students from the Kunstuniversität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst (KUG), the Graz university for arts and music. She also took some time to study bass in France at Versailles and Guyancourt where she participated in many workshops. She eventually decided to intensify her studies at KUG and became an official student of professor Wayne Darling in 2011. Now she studies with professor Morten Ramsbøl.

Anna Keller was born March 19th, 1991 in Rosenheim, Germany.
She showed great talent for and interest in music and at 4 years old
began studying recorder. Eight years later she started studying
clarinet at the music school in Kolbermoor. She eventually fell in
love with the sound of the saxophone and began to study that
instrument seriously as well. She has played often with her own
quartet, many other Jazz combos and the Bad Aiblinger Big Band as well. In 2007 and 2008 she took private lessons with Dave Schiavone at the University of Buffalo during an exchange year to the USA.
In 2011 she began formal Jazz studies at KUG (Graz University for Arts
and Music) with Karlheinz Miklin. She is inspired by many Jazz artists
such as: Cannonball Adderley, Phil Woods, Paul Desmond, Chick Corea
und Sonny Stitt.

Pietro Ricci was born the 15th of September 1991 in Trieste. He started playing and studying drums in 2007 at the private institute "Scuola di Musica 55" and at the "Art Piano music school", both in Trieste.

In 2011 he got accepted at the "KUG" University of Graz, where he's still studying with Howard Curtis. Pietro Ricci took part to many Workshops, among those Merano Jazz Workshop and Gorizia Jazz Workshop.

In 2012 he won the "Franco Russo" award during his partecipation to the Jazz festival "Trieste loves jazz". His main influences are Paul Motian, Elvin Jones, Vernel Fournier, Frankie Dunlop, Steve Jordan, Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis, Al Foster, Bill Evans, Art Blakey, Billy Higgins.
